Does anyone know the part number for the mesh grille on the overlands?

You would think they would at least try to match the grilles on the laredo's and limiteds versus having two different inserts for the upper and lower grilles.

I don't think he's looking for the Mopar chrome mesh grille... he's looking for the chrome grill with black mesh inserts that's standard on Overlands now.

And I agree... having no mesh in the grille, but mesh in the lower fascia on Limited looks... odd.

I have been making a likely bad bet the last month or so that the "Premium Chrome Group" that is supposed to become available on 1/17 will include the Summit chrome mesh grille. I'll be ordering my Overland as soon as I know for sure in a week or so...

i reeeeeeeally want this chrome mesh grill but i don't really care about the saddle dash or machined wheels... therefore the summit premium price just to get the chrome grill seems a little excessive (not sure resale will be that big of a difference???).

any news on when this grill is available through the parts dept or through mopar would be appreciated.

Just picked up my WK2 from Dealer service. They had the new chrome mesh grill on display. Cost = $454
This is in Dubai! Cost here AED 1654 - The part number should also be visible on the photo. Sorry about the quality, just quick mobile pic.

If you have an Overland and you get the new upper chrome mesh grille I bet there are some Laredo & Limited owners who would be interetsed in the stock Overland Grille (I know I would)

Maybe thisis a dumb question, but is there an exclusive 'want/sell/trade' thread for WK2 Owners? Might not be bad to have with so many of us interested in doing model swap mods...

Sooo close yet sooo far. Do you realize just how many times I have been told that it would be released soon. Forgive me for not holding my breath, the last time my parts man told me it wouldnt be till June of this year. Needless to say I hope he is wrong because I too am one of those people that have been waiting for the mess to be released since September

There is an item listed in the Mopar Jeep Accessories Booklet for an:

1. CHROMED STAINLESS STEEL MESH GRILLE INSERT.

Anyone have a part #?

If im not mistaken and they haven't changed anything back in September the Mopar part number was 82212227 and it was listed at $388 with a dealer cost of 290. At the time no ETA and no inventory. That was months ago and I still haven't seen it yet.

I think that fake chrome looks like butt. Black lower with black upper is much more mature and less gaudy. I really wish they would have color matched the grill and mirrors as well.

1000X better:

This is the grill I was talking about.

I agree about the Jeep 20" rims. GORGEOUS! And I much prefer them in the "brushed" finish that's on the Overland rather than the "polished" on the Summit. Just one more reason I'm going for the Overland, rather than the Summit.
