The HK system is an optional extra on the Overland here.

I'm pretty sure that's all. For the low price difference, I opted for the Summit over the Overland... just figured I wouldn't want to spend a few years regretting not having taken those options (FCA doesn't do leasing in Canada).

Well, I just checked Jeep Canada's website and it is indeed true the HK audio system is an option in the Overland! I cannot believe this is not offered in the US!!!

I thought it would be an option on the Limited and Overland in the US since March as well? At least according to this:

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - future Jeep information

New: Harman Kardon premium audio system offered in Limited and Overland models (March 2015)

I can't find it listed if you 'build' your vehicle at Jeep .com.

Re: Overland or Summit??

I ordered my Overland on April 1st and that was an option the dealer offered when we were building it.

Do you live in the USA or Canada?

US - WV
I don't recall what the invoice cost was - but it didn't seem worth it when the dealer read it off to me.

I was between the two too. I like the look of the Summit much better, closer to the look of the SRT in my eyes. For a vehicle that will be driven on the street 99% of the time, I didn't need the rugged looks of the overland.

And yeah, all the other little additions that you can't get on any other models are nice too. My friend bought a '15 Limited before I got mine and on a recent road trip, all he did was sulk over all the features I had that he didn't.

You sound very similar to me I would love an SRT but it's outta my budget in every aspect... I will be putting about 60k mi on the new GC and the SRT would kill me on gas. And all of the other maintenances such as tires and brakes and oil changes.

Re: Overland or Summit??

I loved my 2011 Overland right up until the air compressor died on the air suspension at 90k miles. Now I am awaiting the delivery of my Limited (no air suspension)....

Re: Overland or Summit??

The HK option for the Overland is not on the Jeep "build-it" configurator tool, but it apparently is orderable by dealers ... about $790 list, if I'm remembering correctly. But I'd still order the Summit.
