Re: Overland Questions

You can use your credit card without any issues whatsoever!

Just go to the link and select your level... and choose "order", then click on "Order Using PayPal"... and you'll have the option to use a credit card.

Immediately after submitting I was upgraded on the JeepGarage.org site!

I'm sure they will appreciate your support!

~Jim

Thanks, Jim. It worked just as you said with a credit card. Glad to be able to support this site.

Travel Link is not activated on any 430N. The estimate is Mid Jan for Travel Link.

Jeep,

You're right about that feature, of course. What it does NOT do, which is what most people think of when they say "real time traffic" is traffic display updated in real time ON THE NAV MAP.

Sirius offers two products -- Sirius Traffic and Sirius Travel Link. The 430N only offers Travel Link, not Sirius Traffic. So it can't do what the image below shows -- overlay traffic flow onto your moving map display:

Re: Overland Questions

It's hard to believe that the top-end Jeep Grand Cherokee has no option for real-time traffic on the nav display as the 730N did. Even my 3-year old handheld Garmin has that.

Can you use voice commands with the Garmin as can be done with the 730N so you don't have to punch buttons while driving?
