The new WK2 Overland is still a bit on the hard side, but much better shaped and therefore more comfortable.
My only complaint is that the side bolsters are too far apart. I would prefer them about an inch tighter. I removed the back panel and had a look if I can adjust it, but I might have to take it into an upholsterer.
Please post if you decide to do anything here. I feel like this car was designed for 400lb fatties! I feel like I'm swimming in the seats at 175lb.

Re: Overland Seats

Seats are pretty firm. Remind me of the seats in my sport-optioned X5. Wouldn't want la-z-boy, vis-a-vis a Grand Wagonneer or anything, but something a little less firm would be good. Not a huge complaint from me though.

Re: Overland Seats

this is clearly a euro vs americana thing

the seats are firmer as most have said because luxury cars have firm seats now.

what is going on with the seats is the exact same thing that is going on with the suspensions

in the old days, a caddy had springs so soft the front and back bumpers would hit the ground every time you went over a speed bump.

now, modern caddys are just like bmw... very firm sporty ride.

this is why "limos" are almost always american... plush seats plus super soft suspention... maphiaesque.

sign of the times folks
