Overland Summit, Is the interior lighting color blue?

One of my pet peeves is with the interior color being green. I just noticed on the Jeep website an interior picture over a MY11 Overland Summit and the accent lighting was blue. Is this true for all Summit's or just a tease from Jeep/Chryco?

It's not a tease. I consider it misleading. But, to answer you question, the interior lights are green. Not pretty.

Well I feel better knowing that blue isn't unique to the Summit model (as I would've been very disappointed having a "standard" Overland).

Weird, as the interior picture on the Jeep website clearly shows blue accent lighting. Perhaps it was intended but switched to separate Dodge from Jeep. idk.

Personally, I like the soft red that was in the BMW I had prior to this better. If it was just a color preference I could understand, but it really is also a safety issue.

Red light has been proven to prevent loss of night vision after using/looking at the light. I don't believe that is true of other colors, especially the teal. In the city it is not a big deal, but out on rural road with no other traffic/no other lights, they actually hurt the driver's night vision for seeing animals on the side of the road. The red was great, could see stuff in the cabin as needed, but never really noticed. The teal, while can be cool looking is very noticeable and initially distracting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZjOsNhwcPc this was a good video showing the lighting at night

I love the blue... but then again it's my favorite color! Have a convertible with orange/red lighting that I always wished was this soft blue.

LOL! Wonder what my husband is going to think of all the highlighted lighting door handles cup holder/etc.

Does all the blue lighting seen in the video remain on while you drive? Is there an option to turn it off or dim it?
