Not to threadjack, but...
Is this rebate mailed to you, or is it emailed? Getting ready to take delivery in two weeks, but haven't signed any paperwork yet....

Actually it's mailed and e-mailed I believe based on what you choose.
My certificate came to the e-mail address I submitted when I went to jeep.com clicked on shopping tools and then clicked on "Get a Brochure"
I picked the vehicle I was interested in, and filled in my information.
The certificate didn't come for at least 4~6 weeks after that though.

Did you actually receive a Grand Cherokee brochure in the mail? Twice over the past 6 weeks, I filled out the request for a bruchure to be mailed to me and never received any.

I figured Chrysler is doing what BMW, Audi and Mercedes are doing by claiming they are saving trees (really means they are just being cheap) by not offering printed brochures in the USA.

I received it in the mail, and then a couple of days later, received an email. Both contained the same certificate number. It took about four weeks from the date I requested the brochure.

I received a very fancy brochure, but I have not received any $ 1,000 rebate. I dont recall if I indicated if I was buying sooner than later.

Re: Overland Summits & SRT8's On Restriction?

Just as a side note, if you are a registered USAA member, you probably will not recieve the offer. I recieved three separate ones last year, became a USAA member and stopped getting them. When I went to buy the Summit, I called the factory C/S and spoke with someone that actually knida knew something about list data management. She told me that they bump most of the "private offer" recipients against their USAA (and other affiliate program) recipients and weed out the duplicates.

Re: Overland Summits & SRT8's On Restriction?

Does anybody know with certainty if the "private rebate" and the USAA rebate cannot be used together?

Re: Overland Summits & SRT8's On Restriction?

The private offer recipients are on file at Chrysler c/s as well as the dealer can access the database.
It is a lot easier if you have received past offers and have the ID number that is assigned to you.
After the rep told me no dice, I had the dealer try the same situation without telling them what I already found out. They promptly came back with the same exact explanation- because I was a USAA member, I was no longer eligible for the private offers I had received in the past.
Try doing the same and post your result.

Although I can't confirm it, I think you are correct. My dealer claimed to have looked me up on a targeted direct mail list. Although my name didn't show up, something seemed to alert him to the idea that I wouldn't get a second extra rebate.

Thanks for the info and response.

I've already had my GC over 3 weeks now and today I received the $1,000 rebate in the mail. I don't know if it would have applied anyway since I received the $1,000 cash back that Jeep had in effect last month.

But I'm still waiting for the 2012 GC brochure.

ALL 4x4 GC's are on restriction until January, and maybe even February as January is close to being scheduled out. Looks like JNAP may need to add a third shift (they are working on some weekends).
Milous do you know if the factory restriction might be lifted soon?
If so when?

Thanks

does your coupon say something about custom orders being restricted? i forget the wording the salesman used, but he said it might not apply to a custom order. can you look at your coupon and see what kind of restrictions it has on it?

how many weeks did it take for you to receive it after asking for a brochure?
