Re: Overland vs Limited Grand Cherokee

^You know I'd never really thought about it... but you're right. The Laredo X wheels ARE extremely easy to keep clean... and don't accumulate brake dust like other cars I've had in the past. Hopefully the Limited and Overland wheels are just as good... but I like my "bland" 18 inchers.

I just wanna clarify that the Quadra-Lift suspension is only on the Overland 4x4. The 4x2 doesn't have it.

I'm a newbie and got all excited when I read this post thinking our Overland had QL. Bummer

Re: Overland vs Limited Grand Cherokee

I really enjoy the package value you get from the 70th Anniversary Edition. You get the special edition perforated and contrasting trim leather seats, 20" wheels, remote start, back up camera, berber trimmed floor mats, etc. I personally find the Laredo X and Limited seats a bit bland. I like the perforated/contrasting trimmed ones on the 70th edition much more. Really the nicest seats IMHO other than the black/saddle combo in the Overland.

"To operate the power liftgate manually in the open direction, pull the liftgate handle once to initiate a power cycle and then pull the handle a second time to put liftgate into manual mode."

The OM suggests that you can close the liftgate manually but doesn't give details.

Agreed. I had planned on getting the Limited until I started looking at the options. The Overland gets you a lot of extra stuff for a little more and is IMHO a better value. The leather dash and real wood was not much of a concern for me over other things but they sure are sweet additions!

I think Chrysler made a mistake in pricing the trim levels and a bunch of people noticed. I believe a ton more Overlands were ordered than expected explaining all the restrictions on the Overlands.

In my area of the world I am mostly seeing Overlands and Laredos on the road.

Here here! Totally agree. Automatic lift-gate is standard on the Overland, so go with the Limited for this reason alone.

Lift gate is fine. I push the button and by the time I am out of the car it is open. Realistically it probably takes 7 seconds to open.
