And a letter (on company letterhead) is the standard way for recalls to be advised as well as the Govt body being informed. Never ever through an SMS that:
a: Uses a company name that does not exist.
b: Bastardises the English language.
c: Promises to collect your vehicle, fix it and then deliver it back to you all within 24 hours no less. (That surely should have been a red-flag given CJD Australia's rep).
The number including the Australian Country Code of +61, also indicates that it has been generated overseas.
I would actually report it to SCAMwatch just as a heads-up.
