Re: paint sealant

Optimum Opti-seal works for me.
Truly an excellent product.
Follow with an excellent wax for ultimate durability and shine.

Re: paint sealant

Just ordered Jetseal from Chemical Guys. Hope to clay bar and seal the car next week. Will let you know how it works.

Re: paint sealant

I use claybar and Klasse for my BMWs for years. Lasts a long time and is a true sealant not wax. Detailer by either Meguires or Mothers works well to keep the shine on. I have done this for 13 years to my BMW M3 and the paint was as good when I sold it a month ago as it was the day I got it.
A quality sealer like those listed above will do a great job. Which sealer is a matter of preference...

Re: paint sealant

I would highly recommend using carpro iron-x before you do the sealant. If your JGC is like mine, tons of "rail dust".

It's easiest to spot looking at the chrome parts. Looks like little rust spots.
