Re: Pictures of a Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl Coat 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Everybody needs to realize that these photos are taken with a cheap camera, put through who knows what kind of processes, and displayed on your uncalibrated monitor. (If you're on a calibrated monitor, you know it, and are aware of these types of issues.) The cheap camera alone is enough to destroy all possibility of accurate color representation. Even professional cameras can significantly distort color accuracy - either intentionally or by using unideal settings.
The appearance of colors in photos on a computer screen are NOT ADEQUATE for making any decision about what looks good and what doesn't. The ONLY way to know what a vehicle color really looks like is to go out there and look at it with your own eyeballs, in person, in sunlight (not in the showroom).
