Re: Pleasant Surpise in Mail Today

Got mine last night. I have a 2014 JGC Overland that I bought in June 2013. I bought the extended max warranty with 12 free oil changes and 6 tire rotations. Mine was for $200 as well. I have only had the "brake cover" recall done, and no other problems. The Jeep has 22k miles on it and runs like a top. I wish we could get a UConnect update to add "apps" like Amazon music and such...but overall am very pleased.

I am conflicted as to what to get as it all must be used in same transaction. Clothing? Parts? Key chains?

I have a bug deflector already...and complete set of rubber floor mats. (This would have come in handy when I bought the car as I paid $250 for em).

Any tips on what to get would be appreciated. I hope everyone else gets theirs in a timely fashion.

Haze

It does say Jeep clearly on the envelope but honestly I almost threw it away. It reminded me of one of those junk mail envelopes "we need your used car and want to give you lots of money for it on a trade" that I got every other day from Nissan. But since Jeep does not inundate me with junk mail I went a head and opened it, glad I did.

True, but with all the attention this has been getting people will be watching for ANY letter that says Jeep on the envelope.

LOL...

Re: Pleasant Surpise in Mail Today

Question for anyone...what does a typical dealership have in stock? Meaning, will I be able to get the 4" mopar exhaust tips that just for jeeps sell?

LOL...
yes agree completely, I need to get out of the mode of riping every envelope I get from a car manufacture in half and throwing it in the trash. lol The volume of the junk that used to come from Nissan was unbelievable, even after I called them and said please stop. Jeep has been very good with the marketing, no email spam, no phone calls and just sporadic snail mail

Generally, and depending on your dealership, they'll have hats, tshirts, some accessories and maintenance items on hand. Anything they can order from Mopar qualifies but it has to end up as an over the counter sale.

The certificate can't be used for online sales and direct delivery from a third party source. Read the fine print on the back of the certificate, which I posted here in an earlier post.

I'm getting a map update ($149) for my '11 JGC. I've been "misrouted" a few times of late in Phoenix and Los Angeles due to some new roads and interchanges.
