I'm at 19.8 for the last three tanks, 993 miles on the odometer.

Yes, I am getting up to 24mpg if I keep my speed inside economy sector while driving on highway.
Mix cycle and winter/winter tires makes it down to 17mpg but I am still very happy with this car gas consumption. Is it mostly because of direct injection in V6?

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

I just went through my first tank of gas and got almost 24 mpg. That was about 80% interstate driving and the rest on back roads/town. Very happy plus the ride is smooth. Now if I can just get my phone to play nice with the uconnect.....

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

agree...I often get 23-24mpg on any lengthy HWY trip and that's with the crappy winter gas. I'm sure at a conservative speed I'll easily hit 25mpg come spring time. I know the hemi has the power, but I am very satisfied with the overall performance of the 3.6 and have ZERO regrets thus far. It did just fine pulling 2500lbs last week.

Getting just as advertised. Well maybe not now that it is winter as wife prefers that her seat be toasty hot before she leaves the driveway. I am pleased and impressed with the mileage.

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

I'm averaging 12-14 around town where I do most of my driving. 22+ on the highway for long trips. I'm a little disappointed with the City mileage, and pleasantly surprised with the Highway mileage. Unfortunately I just don't drive many highway miles.

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

I was averaging 22-23 but this winter ive noticed a dip of about 1-2 mpg (im hoping its just because its colder and additives in gasoline during winter). Hope it will go away once it gets warmer. Very happy with it, bit improvement over my old '05 liberty.

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

I just hit the 100 mile mark on a new 3.6L Laredo X. I'm just a bit under 19mpg with about 50-50 city-highway. That's about 1.5mpg better than my 2007 laredo was getting. Hoping for a bit more of improvement as it breaks in.

Agree with the first two sentences of this post. Not sure what the highest is...usually have EVIC set to vehicle speed so I don't pay as much attention to MPGs.

Been noticing that the pickup and response is improving with age. Don't really notice any dead spots in the throttle like I did when the GC was new.

Re: Pleasantly surprized 3.6L mileage

Good to hear, those dead spots are what annoy me the most about the 3.6. Got a 1000 miles on it now in a little over 3 weeks so hopefully I'll start to see some improvement.
