Thanks vertrkr.

Haven't looked at lifts in a long time but with the JGC approaching 5k miles, I just ordered 2 of the Powerbuilt 640912 3 Ton all-in-one. Cheapest I found was for $41 ea. from Build.com with free shipping.

I was not aware. Looks normal on my end. Does this show up?

Edit:
I'm using the "Jeep Garage - Crimson 2.0" setting from the very bottom of the page. Are you using the Black Night by chance?

That is weird. When I switch to the Black Night setting my earlier post does show as black text. Who knows then

One thing to watch out for is the minimum height of these jacks. The 3 ton model has a min height of 11". That's too much for my Durango, not sure about the JGC. The 2 ton model is 8" min height.

It's def under 11 in...around 9 - 10...the one shown earlier has 8 5/8 min and that is plenty guaranteed.

However, it's very hit or miss whether Costco will have it available. In fact, I'm not even certain the Costco chain even carries it anymore. It was never available on costco.com, but when I asked for it (Costco item #300930) at my local Costco they didn't even have a record for it in their database. Searching the internet indicates many other people haven't been able to find this jack at their local Costco since last year (at least). So, actually, maybe it's mostly "...or miss" now.

It's a great deal if you can find it, especially since shipping on a 100 lb jack runs about $70. Here's the equivalent jack at Northern Tool, but it will cost $225 shipped. Not to mention that returns/exchanges are basically impossible given the freight cost. Jacks just don't seem to be amenable to online purchases, and local retailer selection often sucks.
Yeah, mine's the 35R. Our Costco here in Winston-Salem has them, and has had them for about two years now.

You might try harbor freight. I've gotten some good tools from them and shipping is incredibly cheap. Plus they take coupons. I bought a tall transmission jack recently and it's very high quality. We use it all over the shop, almost like we don't know what we did without it.

Also, FYI, O's has the best quality tools of the big parts store chains.

That's good news. People in the market for a floor jack should definitely check their local Costco for the Arcan XL35R or XL325R. Harbor Freight has a similar jack, but it isn't as good or as capable as the Arcan. Essentially, Costco is selling the Arcan jack for 40% less than what other retailers would charge for the same unit.

O's? I couldn't find them on Google. Is that a nickname?

Re: Positioning jack stands on the WK2

I just rotated mine with two jacks and two stands. Can't really remember exactly how I did it but here it goes:

RF (right front) at pinch weld, left rear at jack mount, two stands at right rear, one on lower control arm, RR jack then to left rear, LR tire to LF, RF tire to LR, LF jack to RF, RF tire to LR, RR tire to RF.. That's it, I think.. Or just use your spare to substitute while you rotate if you don't have all the jack needed.

As a side note: I got Terra Grapplers on last fall and had to rotate front to rear once I got home due to a bad steering wheel wobble that they couldn't fix, that actually worked.. was afraid to rotate as it might come back, but it seems fine at 80mph now! Whew! The benefit of doing it yourself is making sure it goes on perfectly symmetric, and you can wire brush out the corrosion in the hub and on the wheel and put anti-sieze on but avoid the lug nots and bolts.. I could barely get my wheels off the first rotation due to corrosion. I live in MN, land of salt and snow.

Good luck. Just look for a substantial suspension mount, it should work with hockey pucks just fine. But don't take my advice...

Also, X-rotation doesn't leave you a next move very well but is better than nothing. OM rec gets the tires on all 4 corners eventually.
