Have you checked your tire pressures since you picked up your Jeep, often they are delivered by the dealership a bit underinflated to "improve" the softness of the ride.
looks like an improvement to me. I have a 2013 V8 Overland Summit and I average 13.5 MPG. I don't see how people are getting better mileage, but it seems like MPG are kind of like fish stories and tend to be exaggerated.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

I really don't understand some of these low figures...I truly get an average of 16+ in general rural warm weather driving (about 15 in the winter) and 20-21 on the highway at 70 mph max. These are calculated manually, but don't differ much from the EVIC on my particular vehicle.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

Depends on drive setup (2 wheel versus 4 wheel), air temp, tire pressure, altitude, tire size, wind conditions, terrain, etc...

But, most of it will depend on how they drive and the driving conditions.

My 09 V6, I am getting 15.6MPG combined, I shiver to think what I'd get with a Hemi.

Iím pretty happy with those numbers so far, and now that Iím a little past the 1000 mile break-in, and my foot is getting a little heavier, Iím hoping the numbers equalize to about 16.5MPG or so.
4th tank = 18.9MPG (90% HWY) - Ecomode on

Easy, heavy foot. I'm starting to learn the throttle much better now and with the help of the ACC, I'm getting much better mileage.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

My average was down to 10.2, but that included the day the odometer wasn't working.

Today I did a little over 100 miles. Mostly highway, some 25mph through town and construction and some on the beach

Average 21.1

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

I just did about a 500 mile round trip, mostly interstate 65-70 mph, averaged 23.5 mpg. I have 4wd Overland, Eco was on, key is to use the cruise control as much as possible. Otherwise I have averaged as low as 17, but most of my driving is highway/country roads. 1,700 miles on the vehicle now. Some of that 500 miles, like 2 hours worth, were through a crappy snow/slush/sleet storm too.
