Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

It has been a few weeks since the last post here. How is everyone doing with your MPG's now that you have more milage on your vehicles? City/Highway?

Have no idea how people getting such high mpg. I'm mostly city driving (80/20) and getting about 10-11mpg. Mostly Eco button off, sometimes in sport mode. I'm slightly heavy footed but nothing crazy. Thought I'd be doing better than this.

Probably 60% city driving and at ~1,100 miles and getting 17.0 mpg with the ECO button pretty much always on.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

I still do mostly city driving with some highway driving occuring on the weekends. Haven't reset the avg. MPG indicator in over 3 weeks, but it shows me averaging 12.5. I'm nearing 3,000 miles and have a better feel for how the vehicle operates and don't find myself flooring it as much, so I hope to start seeing this go up.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

50/50 Driving and with ~1500 miles on it I'm averaging ~18mpg. Goes up if I do more highway driving, down in the city. I only have 2wd.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

Thought I would bring this back after a couple of weeks. My Limited 5.7 is almost here. They have shipped it as far as New Jersey and it is waiting for the final leg of the transport to my dealer. I hope it is not that much longer. How are people doing on the MPG's after some more miles?

With 95% city, I get right at 15MPG, which equates to a tank every 5-6 days.

Re: POST 2014 V8 MPG's

1100 Miles on mine...Averaging 18MPG...I'd say 50/50 highway / city driving...I did put about 100 miles on it on the highway a few weeks back...saw about 22-24MPG.

Hmmm not bad numbers at all so basically highway is excellent and city is well city lol. 15-16 City and 18-20 highway and I'm happy so looks like I won't have a problem once mine arrive.

yeah, me too. I bounce between 12 - 13 mpg. I don't have a heavy foot either, but will get down on it once in awhile. maybe people are exaggerating. seems kinda odd......

I am using the built in MPG calculator. I get about 15 in the city and 18 highway. I leave Eco mode on most of the time (even though I don't like it), and use sport mode for entering the highway and getting away from assholes. When I am in downtown like situations, I turn Eco off to get rid of the poor downshifting,
