When if I would have bought the same priced 4runner from toyota it would be worth 27k. Depreciation is by far the worst thing. Apart from that it's a great vehicle to drive.
Seems like you're getting shafted somewhere, or you've got serious miles/accidents. My early 2013 build '14 Limited stickered around that and is worth much more, even considering 54k miles.

Well, I have a 2015 Overland and have had it for a year now and I must say I love it every day more. Haven't had any issue with it so far, the service at the dealer has been so far good, only thing I do find is that they chargr too much for installing accessories but other than that I've had a loaner when needed and no complaints. If I could change it, it woud only be to get a High Altitude because of the looks of it and to have carplay.

My local CDJR store has 20 free loaners for any repair, doesnt matter if new, under warranty or not. Just have to request one.

Note these are no thrills high mileage trade ins, when they fixed the interior trim on the wifes Jeep under warranty, I got a Hemi Magnum to drive! had like 170K on it but was fine and kind of cool.

Service like that is why I bought local, plus I can walk over in 5 minutes.
They also let me dump my pit oil in their tanks, they burn like 8000 gallons of waste oil to heat their buildings.

Jim, I believe he meant 40k . . . Not 400.

Yes, I caught that, but I meant the trade in number. He's driving a MY15...

Yeah the last KBB I did on MY14 Limited with 38K miles was almost $27,000. That is trade in value, not private seller, in very-good condition. I have a couple extra's like the 20' wheels and 8.4N radio, but those are pretty common options on most Limited's I see.

Re: Potential JGC Buyer.. Are they really that bad?

I traded my 2014 GC Limited Hemi with 24k miles which was a MY13 purchased in May of 2013 and the head display was out but still under warranty and got $30k trade in value when I recently purchased my 2016 GC Summit.
