Ok so im asking this, worried to sound completely stupid but...
I was topping off my wiper fluid and decided to check the level of all my fluids. Coolant is getting close to the refill stage, once it does i will probably just do a flush and top it all of. Brake is good, just a little under mid level. But then i looked at the power steering and its completely empty. I dont have any steering issues nor stiffness. Also if it make any different the jeep is been sitting since yesterday so its cold.
See i asked for help, and i did search but just don't have the luxury of time to read all post with thousands of off topic comments like yours, thanks for your input. Ill take it to heart.
I had an alignment done recently perhaps it was drained or left open... i have a 2013, i will double check on that, i didnt consider that option. Thanks! I didnt see the that link during my search. Or perhaps i didnt open it .
Now that im at work and had a few minuted to read, it seams to be pretty common issue. It just mysteriously disappears,, tomorrow morning i will check the boots by the steering shafts too. I don't want to go top it off before the dealer sees it. I will take it in on Monday or Tuesday.
Not sure what your box is being held with the Panduit strap however, is there any signs of rubbing or damage to the PS system in that area after that install??
Just a thought..
And a big one in the Ecodiesel discussions where Jeep has coined in. It's also hard to find solutions when there are multiple repeat threads for the same issue. Which one has a solution or an explanation? There are "thousands" to choose from. Search helps us all stay focused and organized especially with issues.
Well since you seam very knowledgeable then you already know the answer for that, i will focus on fixing my particular individual issue and if any other forum member needs help, i will be happy to share with them my experience. I will leave the passive aggressive condescending comments to other bitter forum members that just want to cyber police people. Cool?
