Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column

Read in another forum that a new owner of a 2013 Overland stated that it no longer comes with Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column. I checked the Jeep website and built a 2013 Overland and it still shows it under interior equipment. Can anyone confirm?

Re: Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column

I dont have any proof, but I HIGHLY doubt they would remove that feature from the Overland!

Re: Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column

Checked some window stickers on Jeep website inventory and they now show: Tilt, telescoping steering column, with the word "power" omitted. I've sent an email to Jeep for an explanantion since I just ordered one. When I built it on the Jeep site It showed power tilt, etc was included.

Re: Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column

It was mentionned in another thread that "power" is on Overland and N.A. as option for Limited Lux. Pkg. for MY13 only due to supply shortage.

I had noticed some odd listings about the power tilt/telescope wheel and asked Milous in another thread. See below.....

I know Jeep deleted that feature from the Lux package on '13 Limiteds, but did they also delete it from regular Overlands standard feature list and that is why it is listed as an additional Summit feature or am I reading too much into it?

The power tilt/telescope wheel is Standard on the Summit and on the SRT8. It is not available on any other models or trim levels. I believe that there have been some supply issues that caused the feature to be dropped on the Limited and standard Overland and that it will be returning to those for model year 2014.

Re: Power Tilt, Telescoping Steering Column

2013 Overland window sticker - http://www.jeep.com/hostc/windowStic...RJFCG4DC523624 - doesn't have the word "power" in front of tilt / telescoping steering column.

2012 Overland window sticker - http://www.jeep.com/hostc/windowStic...RJFCTXCC270160 - shows power tilt / telescoping steering column.

Do you have the build sheet from the one you ordered? If you ordered a regular Overland and have that build sheet I bet it doesn't list the power column.

I learned many years ago to take vehicle websites with a grain of salt. I've seen errors from many different vehicle makes. One car company continued to list the same error for three model years. But unfortunately it happens, will continue to happen and they all have legal disclaimers to protect them.

They usually say something to the fact that information is assumed to be correct at the time of original publication and that they have the right to make changes and omissions to vehicle content and features without prior notice or changes in price. See dealer for the latest and most up to date info.
