Greetings,
Looking to join the fraternity with a new Grand Cherokee Laredo.
Sticker says $38,980 ,dealer says $33,798 w/incentives and destination charges. What do the experts think?
Thanks; Bill
That's 13.2% off MSRP which is a good deal. To really assess how good though, you need to provide what incentives are being applied. Where are you from? On the surface, yeah it's a good deal...how good requires a few more details.
General rule of thumb I use is to take the invoice price (found on Edmunds.com among other places) and subtract all applicable rebates for which you qualify. After that look to take half the dealer's holdback (holdback for Jeep is 3% of Total MSRP). This should get you to a great number.
point of reference, I was able to get $7k off MSRP 15.5% in Arizona on Overland. $2500 in rebates including conquest (Audi lease). lots of inventory around so shop around and be patient!
