Price Drop on 5.7 Hemi Overland

Was at the dealership yesterday finailizing my paperwork and was informed that the price of the 25P package for an Overland 5.7 Hemi dropped from $1995 to $1495. My salesman was kind enough to show me the new POC from the manufacturer. Ask your dealer to print you a new POC so you make sure you get this discount for those of you that have a shady salesmen.

Didn't look like a typo because it changed the bottom line. Or maybe a glitch in the system.

Jeep.com still showing $1995.

$1,995 is the price for the Hemi in non-Overlands, $1,495 is the price for Overlands, becuase they already have the tow package.

^I think it's the opposite... $1495 on non-Overlands, $1995 on Overlands.

I have a Laredo X w/ V8 and on the sticker, it was $1495.

Interesting, because you couldn't build an Overland with that price a few months ago, still can't. Seems like this might confuse the dealership and provide for an unnecessary up-charge.

You're right, I had it backwards.

Re: Price Drop on 5.7 Hemi

Ok then, this is a little confusing. Apparently, they are building 4x4 5.7 Overlands with QTII and Tow Package, not QDII with Tow Package IV. These two items are worth $500 of the $1995 for the 25P package on the Overland.

I pulled up some window stickers from dealerships with Overlands on the the lots and to my surprise it was showing a 4x4 5.7 Overland without QDII and Tow Package IV, but in fact had QTII with Tow Package as standard equip and no mention of the upgrade, price was $1495. Interestingly enough, out of the 4 stickers I read this configuration seemed to be included on Overland models with Saddle, ACC and Rear DVD.

Is this possible?

Jmp,

I know on my window sticker (5.7 overland) it's a bit confusing. In the left hand column under "standard features" it lists QTII. In the right column, it lists QDII.

I know, and I looked for the description in the right hand column. Usually it will give the price of the 5.7 Overland and then list that QDII and Tow Package IV is included with the price of $1995. Some will also include "Heavy-Duty Engine Cooling" and "220-Amp Alternator" too. But in the few 4x4 5.7 Overland stickers that I looked at, no mention of QDII or Tow Package IV in the right hand column. Price listed as $1495.

Maybe these are early build Overlands. But some were listed as "In Transit".

Re: Price Drop on 5.7 Hemi

Ok, so I finally found some proof. The sticker below shows $1495 for the Hemi for a 4x4 Overland. This Overland apparently does not have QDII or tow package IV. Can this be possible? I know it's possilbe to not have these two items on the V6, but not the hemi.

The Overland that you show the window sticker for does indeed have QDII as well as the Tow package IV. There must be a mistake in the system somewhere that is causing the old price of $1495 to come up. I see a lot of these generated window stickers that have errors. The Hemi/QDII/Tow package is still $1995.
