Pricing Question (After Option Change)?

I placed my order for an Overland on 8/10/10 (off-road adventure II, Hemi, and 730n navigation), but called first thing the next morning to have them remove the 730n navigation (wanted the 430n since it's the 2010 version and includes hands free texting and a few other things). We made it in time to modify the order...

However, the MSRP stayed the same after removing the $305 option, as it was just added to the base price of the overland (from $41,910 to $42,215). I have no idea why that happened and it won't let the dealer cancel the order (to re-submit a new one)...hopefully I actually get the 430n and they adjust the MSRP when it arrives.

Any idea what will happen? The dealer says Chrysler can see that the 730n was originally added and then taken off, so hopefully they'll realize what happened and take care of it when building.

Re: Pricing Question (After Option Change)?

Once my order was put into the system my msrp went from 41,900 to 42,215. I think the msrp rose or it has to deal with the region your in?

Re: Pricing Question (After Option Change)?

Also not to start another I wonder what will come with the vehicle, but 800 chrysler told me my build sheet states the vehicle will have Quadra Drive II, even though I thought this was supposed to be only with the offroad package? and the regular for the Overland was Quadra-Trac II I thought?? Maybe thats the price increase, who knows.

Re: Pricing Question (After Option Change)?

I thought they made the QDII {previously a 500.00 dollar option} standard with the 4x4 Overland with V8{previously a 1495.00 dollar option}so now the V8 option is 1995.00.

When I built my car, QD II was under the Offroad package II, which was only an additional $300 or so if even that much, but I didn't want the 18 inch rims so I didn't take it. The Hemi motor is 1995 as far as I'm aware because of the included trailer package built in the price. However it worked out, it seems like QD II is on the car and the AHX Trailer Tow Group IV package (which was supposed to be).

I guess we all really wont know what shows up until delivery.. :/

If your case is true, then the trailer package is free with a hemi? I don't know either way.

The class 4 tow was definitely not free with my HEMI when I ordered.

No, they added a $500 charge to the engine option.

Yes that was always my impession, correct. Maybe QD II is the reason for price jump.

I figured the MSRP must have increased, but then the dealer built another one and the price still started at 41,910. Not sure what's going on, but it sounds like it wasn't related to my option change as others are seeing the same thing.
