Problems with Blind Spot

Has anyone with a 2014 Summit or other 2014 had the service warning message on Blind Spot - 1st real problem with 16k miles on it.. Really hoping to avoid a service call. Also, where are these sensors located ?

Re: Problems with Blind Spot

My domestic partner's accord. Has a camera on the passenger side mirror. When using the right turn signal, it displays on the dash. That would be awesome to have in the GC.

Only time I have had a problem was when it was covered in snow, ice, or mud. Cleaned it off an no issue.

Re: Problems with Blind Spot

BSM sensors are mounted to the inside surface of the rear fascia, just aft of the rear wheels.

You are correct and that would make my earlier response jibberish...

Re: Problems with Blind Spot

A side topic: can blind spot monitoring be retrofitted? (I know back up sensors can)

Re: Problems with Blind Spot

Isn't their a flash update for those? Something about them detecting stuff that shouldn't be relevant.
