Talking Pulled the trigger and traded my 2011 Laredo X in on a 2014 Overland!

Pulled the trigger today and upgraded the Jeep! New Overland with the V6 and the tech package! So far, really like it a lot. Maximum steel with the indigo interior, love all the tech goodies and especially the radar cruise.

Here's to hoping no reliability problems! I only have one manufacturing issue I can see, one of the pieces of trim in the rear cargo area is misaligned. I can live with that.

Will post pics once I have them...

Oh yeah, I know!

I have one crappy one from the dealer, but tomorrow I intend to go take a bunch of nice pics and I will post them.

Big huge congrats!!!

You are gonna notice the differences ... I didn't realize how different the 2014 is compared to the 2011 until I really started driving it. Love the 2014! You got a great color combo too....so look forward to the photos! Enjoy!!!

Re: Pulled the trigger and traded my 2011 Laredo X in on a 2014 Overland!

The differences are already apparent even with just 100 miles on the clock. The 8 speed really makes it feel like an entirely different vehicle...and the technology is light years better.

Not to worry, good pics tomorrow I promise!

^^^^^^^

That's a good two point summary and I totally agree. The transmission is amazing and smooth....the electronics are huge step forward. I am totally happy with my 2014 and I don't miss my Black & Saddle Summit anymore...

Re: Pulled the trigger and traded my 2011 Laredo X in on a 2014 Overland!

I'm glad to see happy people.

...although I'd like to see pics of this misaligned panel (It sounds like the department I work in, so I'd be able to determine what happened). I wanna look at others to compare.

... and nobody seems to believe me when I tell them just how different 2014-2016s are from 2011-2013s.

Congrats... I know from your previous posts that you went back and forth with this decision for a long time. I have the Max steel on my Overland with the black interior, but I would have preferred the indigo interior I think that is a great color combo. So hopefully this Jeep lives up to your expectations.

Its very minor, I will take a pic of it this afternoon when I take pics of the Jeep and attach it here for you.

Yeah I did...what it really came down to is that the Jeep is an unbeatable vehicle for the money. Anything else south of $50k just feels really downmarket after comparing it to an Overland.

Lets hope! Newest build on the lot was 3/14 (they had 4 identical but all were 3/14)...so we'll see!
