Re: Push Start Fell Inside Dash

Just had this happen today, wife took GC Altitude to work went to shut off
and push button fell inside dash. Dealer said it's happened before but very uncommon. They gave rent a car but not sure how long they would have
vehicle.

Between steering movement over every little bump and rattles, and now this all within 11,000 miles this might be mt first and last Jeep product.

I'll post out come when vehicle is finished

Sounds likely that the clips got slightly broken on install, but just enough it wasn't apparent. Already weakened and a few pushes later...

Re: Push Start Fell Inside Dash

Agh this makes me want to make sure I push ever so gently from now on.. That would suck!!!!

I always thought the 2011-13 push button was awkward and flimsy because the button was removable. I was so impressed when I saw my 14 was a regular button.

Re: Push Start Fell Inside Dash

Gotta ask...how did you turn it off after you got where you were going with the button inside the dash?!
