I've gotten used to hitting the 'down' button as I approach the driveway or a parking space to give it a head start.. but still my wife usually opens the door and stops it before it is down.
I like the feature and can definitely tell a difference when I get in and out of the car (along with the driver exit feature), but day to day I find it is easier to just not have it on as it takes awhile for it to kneel.

I don't think my wife even knows the car does it. She always hops out before it finishes the kneeling cycle. I haven't had it on the past few days and surprised that she hasn't noticed the car is sitting higher when she gets in. But then again, like most women, she wouldn't notice something like that..

The feature that the OP is talking about is automatic lowering. That was not available on MY11-13 QL. It could be lowered to park mode manually, however, by pressing the down button once your speed was low enough during parking to grant permission for the lower parking height.

Mayish?
If you regularly park against concrete dividers, might want to disable that option.
Scrunch....

As you approach parking, you can hit the park button and as your vehicle speed drops, it will go to park level. That way you only get a small scrunching sound if
the concrete marker is too tall.

Even "Will the passenger please remain seated with their seatbelt fastened until the captain has parked and turned off the engine" doesn't seem to work for that issue.

I get less of it if I ask her to push the down button.

I vastly prefer it when she pushes the up button.
