QL question

Tell me about Park mode. I am 6 ft. so have no trouble getting in my Limited. My 88 year old mother -in-law is 4 ft. 11 in. and gets in fine, to my surprise. But you never know.

1) Is the Park mode height difference noticeable?
2) Do you have to hit the button each time you park to lower the vehicle or can you set it on the EVIC to lower whenever you put the lever in park?

Thanks.

Re: QL question

Yes park mode is noticeable to me and even more noticeable for my 85 year old mom. The rear is harder to get into that the front, where you can also have the seat set lower.

You have to activate park every time you stop, but you can push the button as you are slowing to a stop and it will get a head start on lowering. It does take a few seconds and as soon as anyone opens a door it will stop lowering. Mom is impatient, sometimes she does not give it a chance to lower all the way.

Also normal height will be restored at or around 25 mph.

As has been said before, it makes a big difference, probably 1 or 2 inches. It's a big enough difference, that when down, my dog will jump in the back. When not in park mode, he looks up at me like "hey wtf is going on here?". He doesn't take to inconvenience well.

Re: QL question

Yep, it is noticeable and a nice feature to have if you need it. Just press the park mode button when you are just about to park and it should be ready by the time you are parked, takes about 5-10 seconds.
