Quadra Lift Jacking/Alignment Modes

I tried asking this at the MOPAR Connect site. An automated response promising to respond was all I got.

The manual says the engine must be running to enter the Jacking and Wheel Alignment modes. It doesn't say (at least not that I could find) when the modes are exited. Do they stay in effect until the engine is restarted?

I can't imagine it would be necessary to do alignments with the engine running. Also, is it advisable to put the vehicle in the jacking mode when it's on a lift. The guys at my Belle Tire didn't seem to know, either.

Re: Quadra Lift Jacking/Alignment Modes

According to the owners manual those modes are exited when you start driving.

You will save yourself some time if you download the digital owners manual. It is much easier to search than the paper manual, and a lot quicker than asking what it says and having to wait for an answer.
