That might be the difference for me, soft is not better in my book.

Seems like most of us seem to agree that your test vehicle tires were over inflated. Yet, you refuse to look at that possibility but keep coming up with your awful impression of QL.

To each is own, but many people paid more money for QL and if it was as bad as you make it sound, there will be a lot of people complaining about it.

How about you inflate your tires to 45 psi and drive around the town and highway. I bet you will get your disconnected feel from the road back.

Ok, first off my tires were over inflated and yes it rode bad..ish...I stated that already. Secondly....I was looking for an air ride equipped GC until I drove one.
Also, my wife will probably get a Summit with the air suspension....she liked it. She doesn't know shit about how a car should drive or handle and even though I try to push her away from it she still wants it......gimmicky sales pitch got her hook line and sinker.

I guess I'm just not the target market for the air suspension.
Also, I'll probably replace all the shocks and springs on mine when a full suspension lift kit becomes available. Even thought the standard suspension has better dampening than the air suspension it could still use an upgrade.

You should treasure your wife. She is very smart.

Careful what you say to that, she might be watching.

Re: Quadra Lift ride Quality

I find the ride pretty bouncy over uneven roads. It's great over smooth roads, but there aren't too many of those any more. I got the 18" wheels and the handling seems soft with a lot of body roll. Some of that is that it's heavy and high off the ground. The 20" wheels would probably improve the handling. But I like the smaller diameter wheels in the winter for dealing with potholes. My wife loves the JGC, so I have no complaints. Not sure I'd buy another air suspension vehicle. I did get the Maxcare unlimited warranty in case something goes bad with the air suspension.

When you say things like that you bring back fond memories of my mother, saying the same thing to my sisters and me.
