Some times. I've used 4lo to get myself out of the heavy snow then I have used 4lo to try to get out of the heavy stuff and failed.

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

Does the 'Off-Road Adventure I Package' (which comes with QT II) ordered with the 3.6l engine on a Laredo X come with the Selec Terrain switch in the mid console?

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

Yes, I thought all models have Selec Terrain, the variation is when the Overland has Quadra-Lift, and the QDII and QTII has 4 wheel low.

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

No, the standard Laredo or Laredo X does not come with Select Terrain. I guess it is due to the QT 1.

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

I thought Laredo X comes with Select Terrain?? Or is that only the X with the Hemi?

I think Select Terrain is only for Laredo X with Hemi. I have seen a sticker for Laredo V6 + X and Select Terrain is not listed. It is listed on Laredo Hemi + X.

That makes sense...I've only been looking at ones with the Hemi.

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

Select Terrain is standard on Limited and Overland.

On the Laredo or Laredo X, it's part of the Off Road package.

Hemi has nothing to do with it.

Check out this sticker:

http://www.jeep.com/hostc/getWindowS...RR4GT2BC529126

It's for this car:

http://www.westburyjeep.com/new/Jeep...c22d217876.htm

It doesn't have Off Road Package yet it has Hemi, QT II and Selec-Terrain

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

It's showing most of the Off Road package options as standard. About the only thing missing is tow hooks and skid plates and full spare. The off road package costs $950. So for almost $1k you'd only get hooks, plates, and full spare, since the vehicle already has everything else? That would be a pretty bad value.

It's also the first time I've seen a WK2 allowed to have a Trail Rated badge without having either skid plates or quadra lift.

I simply think that sticker is wrong. It isn't the *real* sticker after all; just a computer generated one. Whatever is generating it probably has a bug in it.

If that sticker is right, then Jeep needs to fix their brochure, web site, and all other literature.

Re: Quadra trac I or Quadra trac II

I picked up my WK2 last night - Laredo X with Hemi - no QL - and it has the trail rated badge.
