QuadraDrive/Quadra Lift verification

Hello,
I am searching for an used Overland ecodiesel. As I browse various listings of course, a full build list is not always available, however pictures are always provided.

If I am able to see the Lift Up/Down Buttons on the Right side of the console, does that guarantee QuadraDrive/QuadraLift on an Overland??

Re: QuadraDrive/Quadra Lift verification

Yes. And, I believe Quadralift is standard on a (4x4) Overland. Not sure about 2wd models.

Re: QuadraDrive/Quadra Lift verification

Yup, those up/down buttons ensure the vehicle has quadralift. Also, another thing that can easily give away a feature is for example if you want to easily tell if a vehicle has the advanced warning and technology groupe without making calls or doing other things. Just look for the little "eyeball" in the lower front bumper. That's the radar sensor. Or if you have an interior shot you can see the adaptive cruise buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Vehicles without this package woiuld just have blank buttons in that spot.

Re: QuadraDrive/Quadra Lift verification

Both contributors are correct. I will only add the fact that the adpative cruise control was/is optional even on the Overland.

Yup exactly, that's why I pointed out the easy ways of telling if the vehicle has that system by looking at a few pictures and avoid having to call a dealership or even go there. On the SRT and Summit for example it's a no brainier since its standard.

As others have stated, Quadra-Lift is standard on the Overland (and Summit) models. Optional on the Limited if it's configured with the Off-Road Pkg. The Quadra-Drive II is dependent on the powertrain. If equipped with the diesel or Hemi, it should have it. Though you may want to confirm by looking at the VIN.

Re: QuadraDrive/Quadra Lift verification

Your question has been covered but just so you know you can 100% confirm every single feature/option on any JGC by plugging the VIN in here....it's a free build sheet without the official sales/order codes...keep a shortcut on your phone and u r set for shopping the lots for ones without stickers...

Quadra-Drive II isn't standard on any vehicle, with any engine combo. You have to get it by getting the Off Road Adventure II package AND getting the 3.0 or 5.7 engine option.

Not exactly true. Whether QDII is standard or part of a package is dependent on the trim. It's only available in the Limited to Summit trims and each must have the Hemi or Eco Diesel. With the Limited, it's part of the Off-Road II Pkg. The Overland it's a standalone option and it is standard with the Summit.

So your statement is almost true but only specific to the Limited.

The QDII is absolutely not standard on 2015 and below summits. If they changed it after 2015 that's a new thing.

A V8 in the 2015 Summit includes:

230MM Rear Axle
3.09 Rear Axle Ratio
A numerically lower axle ratio results in lower engine rpm and better fuel economy. A numerically higher ratio improves acceleration, climbing grades, carrying loads or pulling a trailer.
Anti-Lock 4-Wheel Disc Heavy Duty Brakes
Anti-Lock brakes are equipped with electronic sensors that helps prevent wheel lockup, offering improved steering control under extreme braking or slippery conditions.
Electronic Rear Limited-Slip Differential
Electronic limited-slip rear differential rapidly transfers up to 100 percent of available torque away from a slipping wheel on the axle for added traction.

GVW Rating - 6,800 Pounds
When properly equipped. See dealer and check owner's manual for details.
Quadra-Drive II® 4WD System
The Quadra-Drive® II 4x4 system with rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential delivers superior all-weather traction and legendary Jeep® vehicle off-road[1] capability. Choose the Auto mode in the standard Selec-Terrain® traction control system for everyday driving or quickly dial in Snow, Sand, Auto, Mud or Rock for specific driving conditions.

Ya I think he was saying QDll isn't std on Summit and down as the V8 is not standard either. Everyone is basically talking the same thing, sort of.
