Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

What color are the accents (copper or silver) w/ the black morocco interior?

I think they are copper which is a show stopper for me. But want to confirm.

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

The copper gold color is what comes with black.

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

Without originally seeing the interior in person, I would've thought that the copper accents would be a MAJOR mistake, but after seeing the Jeep brown leather with copper accents on my '14 Summit I really like it. I think you'll be surprised how good it looks. Jeep did a great job with this interior.

My Mercedes CLS63 AMG was recently totaled and I opted for the '14 Summit as a replacement (for the 2 newborn kids) and couldn't be happier. The interior is VERY close to being on par with Mercedes IMHO..

Don't make a decision until you see it in the flesh. I think mine looks great!

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

Unless things have changed within the model year, the copper accents in the Summit with the brown interior are different than the slightly gold-hued silver accents in the other interiors which is pretty much the same as what has been used for a few years in the JGC.

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

Could you guys define "Accents" please? I have a 2014 Overland with Black Morocco interior and I don't see anything that looks copper colored to me.

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

With the brown, the "gold/copper" color may make sense. But with the black interior, I'd much prefer silver trim. Unfortunately it's not an option.

I just went out to the parking lot and looked at mine. It looks like Damn Dude's first picture above. I guess you could call that copper, gold, or even bronze colored. For me, I like it better than silver since it doesn't reflect sunlight as bad.

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

IMO the copper/bronzish color trim looks SOOOOOO good. Im really surprised to read that some guys actually think its a "show stopper". Its so subtle, its not like its bright gold or anything lol. It just has a slight bronze tinge to it and I think it looks amazing!

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

Definitely see it in person. I have the black interior on my Overland and I would say it is more gold than copper, but either way it looks good to me!

Re: Question about 2014 GC Overland interior

From the WK2Jeeps site, this is a better representation of the 'gold/copper' color with black interior I think.
