Question for 2011-2013 Overland Owners

For 2011 thru 2013 Overland owners:

Curious on how they are holding up in general, and more specifically how is the interior aging? The dash, seats, etc. For those with Saddle Color seats, are you still happy with them, and are they holding up well?

Considering a used 2013 Overland, 5.7l with either black or saddle interior.

Thanks.

Re: Question for 2011-2013 Overland Owners

Mine is great. I have made sure to take care of it insideasy and out. I have no issues with the interior not holding up etc.

Love my Jeep!

Totally happy with interior. No unexpected wear, etc. I could do with out the black portions of the interior, but I didn't have a choice there.

Another good way to gauge how things are lasting since guys on here probably take care of there things a little more than the average owner....go on cars.com or autotrader.com and search for that specific vehicle and look at the interiors. That'll give you good idea.

Interior wise mine is holding up well. I had the dash replaced due to bubbling up of the leather about 2 years ago but it has held up well since. Only real wear I can tell is a small area of the armrest on the drivers side but barely noticeable. I have the Dk/Lt frost beige interior.

Mechanically I've only had a couple issues: window regulator went out at around 7000 miles, water pump at about 70k and lastly brake booster went out at about 90k miles all were replaced under warranty/maxcare.

Since I'm right at 96k miles it's getting a little long in the tooth but I think I'm going to hold onto it for a while longer until the 2nd year of the new generation launches.

Re: Question for 2011-2013 Overland Owners

Have a 2011 Overland with the Saddle/Black interior. It's held up very well, although the stitching on the dash has faded slightly. I went a couple years before I ever put any conditioner on the seats. It very slightly darker the saddle color, but softened them up a lot. I really like the old style Saddle interiors - I have a black dash and tops of doors. I think the SRT's have this now.

We gave the 2011 to our college daughter and we picked up a 2016 Summit and would have done Saddle again, but do not like the saddle dash and door tops, so we went with Canyon Jeep Brown.

Re: Question for 2011-2013 Overland Owners

I have a 2013 with Saddle interior/black exterior with over 80k miles. It has held up ok. There are squeaks and rattles, but I'm not sure they're really worse than when I got it at 24k miles. That said, I love the color and it has held up about as well as anything I've seen from Jeep.

Nice. Thanks for the input. Sounds like in general the leather dash is also holding up well.

Re: Question for 2011-2013 Overland Owners

I have a 2012 Summit, 65,000 miles, with the Saddle interior. Honestly the only part of the interior that is showing any wear is the drivers seat. As you can see by the picture the wear is minimal. The rest of the interior still looks brand new in my opinion. I think if you find one that has been taken care of and you keep up with that care it will last you quite a while.
