Re: Question for stone white owners

I agree with your comment, it does not seam to stay as clean. Our GC replaces a 09 Malibu that was a brighter white and usually looked ok after rain/snow. The stone white has a grayish cast to it which I figure contributes to the dirtier quicker effect. I too love a clean vehicle. Part of the washing regiment is to use Eagle One Spray n Shine after drying and Griots Garage rubber and vinyl dressing to dress the tires. Nicely dressed tires (not super shiney) always complete the look. Nothing like a Stone White GC standing tall! New Lloyd's Ultimates tommorrow took forever to figure out a match the medium graystone. More on that in the appropriate forum when installed.

Does your tire shine make your tires brown looking after they do get dirty? And it is hard to scrub off when washing? Mine does. I do like shined tires but I never do it for that reason.. I forget the brand I use but all foam type seem to do it for me..

Anal retentive people should not own white cars.

Re: Question for stone white owners

The Griots product leaves a nice matte finish on the tire no browning. Lasts a while as well.

So in response to andyh, when it comes to cars/trucks from an anal retentive person's point of view there is no color we should have...much less any vehicle for that matter! The pursuit of perfection is definitely expensive to boot.

Haha. See tha why I own white. Too damn picky and the smallest defect or specks of dust annoy the shit outta me.. Not to mention swirls. Cant usually see that stuff on white.. Owned a black car once. Lived on a dirt road with it and Went crazy trying to keep it clean hahah

Re: Question for stone white owners

I have Stone White and love it. I've had many, many dark colored vehicles (including many black cars) and my Stone White looks better, when dirty, then any of those vehicles.

This is my fourth white car, and I bought it because white always looks clean.

wrong. I end up washing my 2012 weekly. And if it gets wet it looks really bad. Tried lots of waxes, but no help.

Grey always looks clean if that's what you're looking for. I've noticed that the brilliant black looks grey when it rains. It's strange
