Re: Question (Truecar)

No, it doesn't.

To get the 8.4A radio requires the Luxury Group II package. From there you'd have to have the dealer activate the Nav ($500-600?) and basically turn it into a 8.4AN.

So the option that is already included can be updated to include it for the additional fee?

Thanks.

If it has the 8.4A radio, that is nav capable and can be activated by the dealer for an additional fee. Does this have the Luxury Group II package? I didn't see it.

If it doesn't have the 8.4A radio then I don't think the dealer can activate nav on the Limited's base radio.

No, I didn't add that option $4.5k. I know the Altitude's can be loaded so I would think the Limited could be done as well.

Thanks.

Re: Question (Truecar)

The Altitude is optioned differently than the Limited. It comes with the 8.4A radio.

Have you looked at the Altitude and what it comes with as standard equipment?

Re: Question (Truecar)

Have you compared a Limited to an Altitude? The Altitude may be a better all around value for your buck. There are a lot of people on this forum that have Altitudes and they really seem to love them.

Can't you get the 8.4AN as a stand alone option on the Limited on the 2015 's like you could on the 2014's?

On Jeep's "build your own" configurator page it doesn't appear as a standalone option for either a 2014 or 2015 Limited.

The 5.0 radio is standard on the Limited. To step up to the 8.4A nav capable radio requires the Luxury Group II package. The dealer can activate nav on this radio for a fee if you want it.

The Altitude comes with the 8.4A nav capable radio.

Re: Question (Truecar)

Went back and looked at the option listings on wk2jeeps.com for a Limited. On their site it lists the following as standalone options. Note: AHN designates the Luxury Group II package.

O. UCONNECT 8.4A AM/FM/BT/ACCESS (RA3) (included with AHN) (MSRP $650 / INV. $579)
Software upgradable to add navigation at any time (activation fee, dealer installation required)
8.4" Touch Screen Display (RFL)
GPS Antenna Input (JLP)
Roadside Assistance and 9-1-1 Call (RSR)
RR View Auto Dim Mirror w/Microphone (GN5)
SiriusXM Satellite Radio (RSD)
Uconnect Access Advantage (RS7) (6 mo. trial registration required)

P. UCONNECT 8.4AN AM/FM/BT/ACCESS/NAV (RA4) (MSRP $1145 / INV. $1,019) / with AHN: (MSRP $650 / INV. $579)
8.4" Touch Screen Display (RFL)
Includes Premium Navigation and HD Radio
1-Year Sirius Travel Link Service (X9F)
1-Yr Sirius RealTime Traffic Service (X9C)
1 Yr. Trial (registration required) (X9K)
Rear View Auto Dim Mirror w/Microphone (GN5)
SiriusXM Satellite Radio (RSD)
SiriusXM Traffic (RSS)
SiriusXM Travel Link (RSM)
Uconnect Access Advantage (RS7) (6 mo. trial registration required)

LOL... so there's conflicting info out here. The best would be to talk to a dealer and find out for sure.

Not exactly...the 8.4N with the dealer NAV update doesn't have the same capabilities as the factory 8.4AN.
