I could have EASILY beat the Lambo in my jeep. Just put us off-road in the mud and see who gets to the finish line first.

Re: Raced for pink slips...

Yes, they really are beautiful cars. Last month I was in Italy and went to the Lamborghini factory. I enjoyed the tour of the assembly line for both the Aventador and the Gallardo. Unfortunately I was not able to take pics inside the factory, but took a few outside.

I have driven an Aventador - they have amazing acceleration and its kind of fun to get your head thrown back against the seat while shifting. I'm still old school and prefer a manual transmission as opposed to e-gear and new ISR transmission in the Aventador.

I agree, old school is truly funner. You feel more of a connection with the car with a manual. However, the technology has improved and it is more logical to get an auto these days in my opinion depending on the quality of the auto. The VW DSG is not only amazing, but eons ahead of most of the other autos. Porsche PDK is also excellent. Those are the best two autos in my opinion. Of course they come with the tiptronic which kinda makes you feel more in tune with the car. But nothing beats that damn gear lever and clutch pedal...it's just a feeling you can't replace.
