Random observations

Just wondered if anyone noticed how the front door windows appear to be two layers where as the rear doors look to be single. Looking at the edge, the rear windows have a normal single curve, whereas my front door windows have a groove in the center making the window look like two panes pressed together, like a single butt crack all the way around. Or would it be cleavage...

During the day, the perspective side daytime running head light goes out when the the turn single is activated. Thought that was cool.

Much like the ol "getting burned by hot coffee from a coffee cup" issues, with today's litigation heavy world, I wonder if anyone will try and throw something at jeep about having no warning for the sunroof and the potential of getting a bad sunburn on their thinning bald spot like I did this weekend...

Yup the front windows are laminated glass. They have been doing this in the GC since 2005. It use to be labeled secure shield, but apparently they did away with that notation on the new windows. I wish all the glass on the car was laminated. It would cut the noise and possible smash and grab even more.

The front daytime running light on the same side as an activated turn signal shuts off while the signal is flashing as noted by Sir Bean. That is used on many of the Chrysler, Dodge and Ram vehicles, in the past year at least. Most other manufacturers don't do this, even though up here DTRs have been standard since 1991.

It is all how Chrysler placed the DRL's in relation to the blinkers. Most states have a law the DRL has to be cut off when the blink is so many inches from the DRL. Otherwise if you notice most other manufactures have the blinkers on the outside away from the inside DRL.

The bad thing is it has made me use my blinker less since I think it looks out of place with one light out and the constant on off of the DRL will cause it to burn out quicker......don't get me wrong I am not one of those A**H**** that turns without using a blinker. I only do this now if no one is around. I am the first to lay on the horn if you turn in front of me without a blinker.
