Rear cargo liner options 2014?

My 2014 WK2 is about a week away. I'll need a rear cargo mat that is waterproof. I have a weathertech one from my current car. Does Jeep offer a option or is weathertech the best bet? Their website lists it for $109. Anybody picked one up for less?

Re: Rear cargo liner options 2014?

Just ordered slush mats and cargo liner for my 2014 GC. Will let you know but I they are made by MOPAR so fit shouldn't be an issue. They look good anf like Jeep logo on them.

Re: Rear cargo liner options 2014?

I was planning on getting weathertech floor liners for front and rear passengers since many have said they're a lot better than the MOPAR slush mats, but it seemed less clear which was better for the cargo liner - the MOPAR or the weathertech.

So, in short, I'm basically looking forward to hearing what responses you get.

Sorry, inadvertent send. I meant to say that I decided to go with the Jeep rear cargo mat even though I went with Weathertech throughout rest of car. Cost was a little better and it seems great. However, I think the Weathertech liners are more refined for the front and back seats.

The weather tech for my Mazda has a 1" lip that keeps water from running off into the seat or spare tire area. I'm curious if the mopar liner holds the water. I'm just Interested in the rear cargo area not floor mats.

The Mopar cargo liner only has a small lip. Not as high as Weathertech. It will still hold some dripping water, but not quite as much. The fit is really good.

I bought husky liners front/back and cargo. while I liked the front/back seats liner I'm not in love for the cargo liner. It doesn't have a perfect fit... the pictures of the weathertech looks better in terms of fit... I would go with hisky for the seats since it has more coverage than the others

the cargo liner has a big lip, the problem is if you plan on using the cargo net you have to cut the liner, hence killing the waterproofness... I wish the liner would just go around the hooks

What would you recommend for hauling stones?

Re: Rear cargo liner options 2014?

I'll be using a canvasback liner under a jeep cargo mat.

Re: Rear cargo liner options 2014?

I ordered and installed the black weathertech front back and cargo mats. They look pretty good in there and fit is obviously awesome. I do see one problem and that is that when the back seats get folded down the weathertech will not allow a flat area in the entire back as the lip is pretty stiff and high.

Re: Rear cargo liner options 2014?

I have the Mopar cargo mat and I'm not happy at all with the fit. I'll likely order a Weathertech down the road.

There is about 3/4" space between the mat and the wheel wells on either side, and almost 1" between the mat and the back of the rear seats.

If you're looking for total coverage, I would not recommend the Mopar...even though the price is nice.

The one upside is that its a nice heavy mat...but the chrome rails really make it hard for a mat to stay firmly planted.
