Re: Rear ended

Picking up on a hint from someone esle on this site, I installed a Rhino Guard in the trailer hitch. You have to get through the hitch before you hit the body.

Here is a link to the web site

I need to learn how to upload pix

Nice! Here's an idea...I'm thinking the reverse sensors should activate whenever the speed drops to zero and the shifter is in drive. If it alerts, the trunk monkey should launch into action. The backup camera should record the event and store it for insurance purposes and your viewing enjoyment.

Yeah, I'd say the Explorer just tapped him. And that Explorer front end is far from trashed. A new bumper cover and grille is all that's needed to fix it. That's not a lot of damage at all...

That may be true but I wanted to cry like a little byoch...I hate having to go through the pain and inconvenience of the repair process, not to mention I won't have my JCK to drive while it is being repaired...sniff, sniff.

LOL, that's funny. You should just be happy that the damage isn't serious. From looking at the pics, you just need a new bumper cover installed and painted and you're all set. Your hitch didn't get bent, did it?
