Yep, in my experience, as long as the cars are new and with low miles, you'll get new or "re-conditioned" OEM parts.
Yours doesn't look bad right now, but until the shop removes the bumper cover, you wont know for sure. But I think you got lucky. The damage isn't that bad on the Mitsu.
Here's the damage to my JGC last year while in bumper to bumper traffic. Almost $8K once it's all said and done. Was originally estimated at about $5500. That didn't even include the ~3-4 weeks worth of rental.
