Definitely get your own independent estimate. Their guy is the lowest bidder. Any moron can paint a car it takes a pro to do it right. Often the lowest bidder will use used parts (which isn't always bad) and aftermarket (you don't have to accept that). You also have the right to take it to whoever you want for the repair

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

get 3 estimates from whomever you choose also specify that only new(no junk yard) mopar parts and no china made parts are used for repair. no way i would lay out a dime of my own money for a doctors visit (copay) thats on them. hate to say it but unfortunitly this is why most people sue its just so hard to deal with this on youre own terms. ins companys job is to pay as little as possible and if youre ignorant of their ways than thats just what happens cant hurt to just get a free consult from a lawyer as to how to proceed. just my 2c
true ins rates are high because everyone sues, know why, because of all the confusing advise people get. its easier to get a lawyer and let them hash it out. do you think premiums will ever go down? i dont, more people,, more cars, more a-holes texting or watching movies or whatever= more accidents

Re: Rear Ended this morning.

I am definitely only taking OEM Mopar parts for the repairs. I am still waiting to hear from the insurance company about when the prcoess is going to start.

Accidents happen. Good that you're ok.
