rear seat pet protection

Hi All,

I picked up MY WK2 a couple of weeks ago and need to get a cover that will protect my saddle interior from my dog's nails and hair, has anyone purchased one they cam reccomend? I'd like one that protects the door panels and back of the front seats. I know that BMW sells one but I dont know if it will fit the Jeep.

Look online at Orvis or Doctor Fosters for a hammock sling-type product. It hooks on to the headrests both front and back and you can get them for comfort ($) or in a 600 denier nylon material for when your dogs are dirty, wet or muddy. Both companies carry good products.

Re: rear seat pet protection

I have the Canvasback cargo liner. It's a little more expensive butt it covers really well.

Re: rear seat pet protection

I put my dog in the cargo area after I installed a cargo mat then a pet gate between the cargo area and back seat, this after I gave up trying to keep the carpet and seats clean/protected, nothing was working. I also saw the pet hammock but didn't actually try it myself. Hair still seems to float around somehow and I find it on the seats but at least its easier to vacuum off.

Re: rear seat pet protection

I use this:
http://www.amazon.com/Westminster-82...dp/B0018CJZ2I/

Comes with it's own carrying case which I store in the spare tire area. Had two of the dogs in the back on a long trip. One dog threw up in his soft crate. It leaked through to the liner but the liner did its job. BTW... I got it at Marshall's for only $15 but it's at Amazon for less than $20. You do NOT need to spend 50 or 60 bucks since the majority of these protectors are very similar. Here's a pic of mine in the back. This also has velcro fasteners if you choose to use them. For mine, didn't feel the need to protect the back of the front seats since my dogs aren't trying to get over them. (btw... the dogs I'm transporting are two German Shepherds and a Great Dane) Yes, that's a LOT of dog! (the one in my sig is the "runt" of our family weighing in at 90lbs)
