Receiver height for factory Receiver Hitch

Can someone tell me what is the height of the factory receiver from the ground?

I am going to be buying a new trailer hitch for my current tow vehicle and I want to be sure that I get one that will have the correct drop/rise for the new GC that I will be ordering as soon as the CRD option is available.

Thanks.

18.5 in park mode, I use a 2 inch drop for light tongue weight towing a snowmobile trailer

The 2014 Limited w/ tow package will have load leveling so no need to account for sag either.

Thanks for the response, was that measured from the top or bottom of the receiver?

Thanks again,

This gives me enough information to guess that the standard 4" shank offered with the hitch will work for me.

Re: Receiver height for factory Receiver Hitch

I use a 4" drop for both my horse trailer and my utility trailer. That puts the top of the ball at about 19" at normal ride height.
