I just received my Bestop HighRock Recovery Hitch from Amazon, cost 32.37, D-Ring included. The finish seems to be pretty good and the construction is heavy duty. The fit could be better. As you see in picture it fits a little loose. I ended up taking an old motorcycle inner tube and stretched it over the end of it, now it fits pretty well and does not rattle around. I thought this might come in handy one day or at the very least keep people from backing into my bumper. I also picked up a Smittybilt Recovery Strap (3X30), rated 30,000 lbs, for 31.66.
i think they are all supposed to be slightly loose. most people just leave the hitch bar/ball in the receiver. over time, they lose some of their coating and will rust. my brother-in-law had a triple ball one get stuck in his receiver. it took hours to get it to free up.
