Remote start activation

My 14 JGC Overland (Export Middle East) came without remote start, it's available now but the dealer price here is around $460 !! While the price for the key fob piece only is $260 on almost all jeep parts web stores, I understand it requires dealer scan for activation but how hard is that?! How much dealers charge for activation?

Re: Remote start activation

Call your dealer, he's the only one that can tell you what he will charge.

My dealer charges $460 for the key fob + activation, but I think it's too much! So wanted to know how much dealers in other countries charge for activation?
