^^^^^ that is right use a hair dryer and peel it off just go slow. Or you can go to a marine store and get some registration number remover made by 3M. Just go slow.
after you get it off...use something like goo gone or an alcohol wipe to get any adhesive left. I would theen apply some wax to that area to protect it.
Thank goodness they are just stickers these days.... I just peal them off after parking in the sun and use goo gone for the adhesive that is left.
I have asked dealers to not put on the stickers but they do anyway...not a big deal though. Of course, the cheesy license plate frame goes right in the trash too....
I stipulated in the contract that any application of "dealer advertising material" applied to my vehicle prior to acceptance would be constitute for a contract to become null and void.
My selling dealer doesn't put any stickers/emblems on at all.....which I don't mind but it seems awfully odd to me. They do put a license plate frame on but didn't put one on mine for some reason. If they had I would have pitched it because they are the terribly cheap black plastic/white printing that starts fading as soon as you drive off the lot.
