Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

Dealer said a "fix wasn't ready yet, no parts." Called Jeep, "yes there are parts for the fix." Called the dealer back, "Oh yeah we have the parts here to fix that." Hrumph.

Has anyone had the 5/7/15 (21-005-15a) FLASH Transmission Shift/Drivability update done? Replaces 21-005-15 dated 1/29/15...

Not positive, but I think they replace the module that has better electrical connectors on it. As far as the transmission update, I noticed much smoother shifting after the update.

Just had mine done. Instructions located here....

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/..._ids=14V643000

If you open the link for the 6 associated documents click on this one specifically: Remedy Instructions and TSB.

So far they are replacing my glovebox and a passenger side panel in my console because of scratch damage done during the recall. Seriously, the glove box isn't even involved and the panel damaged was not even removed. Now that I see what all they did, I need to look for more damage to the back of my console in the rear.

So when you get in a almost two two year old jeep without any scratches and it looks brand new, wouldn't you be careful?

Very P.O.

I'm assuming the accessed something in the USB / SD card area is involved because my iPod was in the cup holder when I picked it up.

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

Had mine done yesterday.

When I called to schedule in for a collection of fixes, was told that parts weren't available.. got the "parts are available" card the next day, called and the "service advisor" confirmed they had the parts..

Fast forward to yesterday. The "service advisor" that cheked me in said "we can't do P67, we don't have parts".. um, check again Sherlock..

That and a few RRTs were done. The things I actually had complaints about were not ("could not reproduce").. FCA really needs to work on the service experience..
