Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

(Occupant Restraint Control Module) Just received my second notice. As far as I know Jeep hasn't come out with a fix yet? Does anyone have any info on this recall?

I also received a second notice. My dealer says they still don't have the parts.

Dealer in Ventura CA has the part (P67 Occupant Restraint recall); my appointment is scheduled for 5/16...said it should take 2 hours to complete. Hope that helps

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

I talked with Customer support yesterday and they said parts are available. My car is going in on Tuesday to have it done.

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

Mine was done today. I was in last week because my horn wasn't working. When they were telling me they'd order the horn I told them to order whatever they needed to do the recall as well.

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

We got our 2nd recall notice earlier this week, stating parts are available now. I've been meaning to take advantage of a free inspection coupon anyway. We are making a 1700 mile road trip next month, figured I'd get the inspection and recalls all done at the same time right before that.

Thats interesting. What is your build date, if you don't mind me asking? We replaced our horn as well, and until you mentioned it, I'd never heard of any other 2014 MY's horns needing replaced.

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

I received the notice a few days ago, and need to find time to go to a dealership.

I see the sun visor recall is being reviewed due to fires in eight vehicles which had that recall work done....

Feb 2013. Bought March 2013. Besides the horn which sounded blown requiring replacement, they've replaced the backup cam twice, entire 8.4AN assembly, reprogrammed transmission several times, replaced rear shocks, and the numerous recalls. Just hit 36k on it and was luckily given a MaxCare warranty complementary because of the time spent at dealerships and on the phone with "case managers".
