Angry Sap on leather seat

hey guys,

I was just wondering if there is anything out on the market or homemade to get sap (tree pitch) off of my leather seats, will Goo Gone work for sap? This just happened and i am upset since i have had this car for less than 1 week.

You may want to try a bug/sap remover. Just lightly spray a little on the sap and let it sit. These sprays a usually more of a gel then a liquid so it should be a pretty focused spray. You may have to do it several times to scrape away each layer of the sap depending on how thick it is. Any bug/sap remover should work, I know Turtle Wax makes one. After removing it I would use a leather cleaner/conditioner to restore the leather. This is just an idea, but should work...

Re: Sap on leather seat

Try WD-40. Its not as harsh as bug and tar remover and it will remove tree sap, grease, etc. Afterward use a good leather conditioner.
