Define these results, all I can see is that your Jeep needs more milk...needs more calcium:)

And am I reading this correctly; You change the oil at 8,000 miles-ish and now the report people are suggesting a 10,000 mile change??

I suppose if I went 15,000 mile changes, I too would have high levels of _____.

It's pretty normal. And despite going longer most numbers improved. The numbers that went up are just because I ran the oil longer. Not because something is going wrong.

Compare First Column to Last. But you have to realize the average person that sends in an analysis is not as high as 8400 miles. So some numbers will be naturally higher.

One of the critical numbers is TBN which goes down with usage. And there is plenty of room to go further.

Another good one to watch is the Viscosity. That it's not getting too thick or thin.

I plan to stick with 7500 and I'll have plenty of Margin in case I forget. Like I did this time. I planned on changing oil sooner. But it was fine.

I see you are from Indiana, whats the average temperature there during the summer, curious to see if this affects anything. The operating temp should be consistent no matter where but the cool off time after a run if its drastic like in the winter it might change some.

I'm from New England and have a house in NH and MA.

I guess the average temp in the summer is low 80's.

But it can get up to mid 90's easily.

Been a cool summer this year so far.

If I was in hotter climate I might factor that in.

Blackstone Oil testing company is in IN.
