I'm thinking that too. Though, down the road if I get a different spare tire (OEM spare - 265/40/18 and OEM tire size is 265/60/18), I would have to make sure the bolt holding the spare rim to the battery box would reach as the tire would sit up slightly higher with the slightly wider tire.
I'm probably thinking about this one too much now. I just need to get my plans to a metal shop and have them weld this up for me.
Any idea on the cost for this small project?
